Oh Canada!

I have always loved our country.  It is respected throughout the world and I am proud to be a Canadian.  When I give a Canadian pin to someone who can only dream of coming here, I see from their smiles that they hold this beautiful country in high regard.  And for good reason.

We returned directly to Vancouver to enable us to visit Brad and Anette, and for Roger to have some meetings.  There was such relief in coming back to Canada and the ability to enter a clean, well stocked grocery store sent us into a giddy shopping spree.  We ordered enough Thai food the first night to prompt being asked, "is this for a party?".  Over the weekend we hit a fabulous seafood restaurant, Rodney Oyster House, for raw oysters and clam chowder, and Brad and Anette made a fabulous turkey dinner with all the trimmings for us --- gastronomic heaven and the thought of questionable ground beef in Mek'ele became more of a distant memory.

Great food and family = Happiness

Fresh oysters and horseradish....ahhhhh

Once more our future is undecided, but we're o.k. with that.  Things have a way of working out for the best, and I have faith in Roger.  Fortunately, he has faith in me, too.  Together, we'll make decisions on what happens next.  Stay tuned!
