Home sweet home...

It took awhile, but we finally got the apartment in Medellin that we wanted.  It is in a high rise next to the hotel where we've been staying.  Bakeries, restaurants, stores, and a gourmet deli are just steps away from our place.

It's hard to believe, that just 2-1/2 years ago, we were living in a tent in the Kalahari Desert of Botswana.

This is the most modern place we've ever lived in, and are enjoying the urban lifestyle.
Most apartments in Colombia have their TVs only in the bedroom.
It's nice to have a bedroom with a sitting alcove for this reason.
View from our balcony at night
San Fernando Plaza - where the hotel and our apartment meet
This is the main street in El Poblado - the trees are so big, they often create tunnels of branches
The more we stay in Medellin, the more we like it, and we look forward to sharing the city and area with anyone who would like to come and visit.
